A set of generic solutions to be implemented in multiple contexts and support many types of applications and services addressing four matters of innovation of technology:
Secure data portability
Benefiting from a Secura Data Container to facilitate the portability of data and its associated processing tasks within the resources of the computing continuum.
Data protection risk management
By using information acquired during run time, data threats and associated risks are dynamically and continuously identified in order to timely trigger adaptations or policy updates.
Data-protection-aware adaptive service and resource management
By monitoring system performance and considering data protection risks, appropriate adaptations of the application services or infrastructures resources are carried out to ensure data protection, while optimizing system performance and cost.
End-to-end data protection policy management:
By delivering increased management capabilities to check and update data access control policies, it is ensured that data protection policies meet the preferences of the data subjects and legal requirements, and are suitable for the current service and resource orchestration.
Contribute to the development of an ecosystem that will respond to the future digitisation needs of industry and the public sector;
Create new opportunities to encourage European-based providers, in particular, SMEs, to develop and offer cloud-based services based on the most advanced technologies;
Foster the creation of new cloud-based services and infrastructures in Europe enhancing industrial capability in the cloud computing sector;
Benefit from R&I projects to support the development and deployment of innovative cloud-based services and next-generation applications, for the public and private sectors.
