On June 8th FogProtect took part in FIWARE Smart Fest

The FIWARE Smart Fest concerned open-source innovation, collaboration, and networking. The event presented the latest FIWARE initiatives, tech updates, and strategic highlights, past, present, and future. 

On the second panel of the day, Deep Dive: Smart Cities & Mobility, Ubiwhere’s Head of R&I Ricardo Vitorino addressed the Smart Cities use case in FogProtect, and Francisco Monsanto, Smart Cities Product Owner at Ubiwhere, explained the benefits and challenges of running computer vision algorithms in distributed computing units, and how FogProtect is helping solve some of them, in the panel of AI Use Cases.
